Freeman recently received an award for his commitment to community service. He was honored as a 2011 Volunteer of the Year at the YMCA of Metro Atlanta Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner. The dinner took place on Monday, November 7th, at the Cobb Galleria Center. In addition to his leadership of the Tigers soccer team and more recently his primary role in founding the Tiger Soccer Club, Coach Freeman is on the Board of Directors at the Young Family YMCA. He is committed to the cultural, social, and athletic enrichment of our YMCA, which is evidenced by his many contributions to the YMCA and its programs.
