Kenneth Mitchell, Jr. is a native of Atlanta and holds a B.A. and M.A. from Georgetown University and received his Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law. Prior to joining Johnson & Freeman, Kenneth served as an Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County, where he represented the State of Georgia in a number of bench and jury trials; and gained experience prosecuting homicides and major felonies.
Kenneth is a 2019 graduate of the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Leadership Academy for the State Bar of Georgia; and currently serves as a YLD District Representative for the Northern District of Georgia. Kenneth is also a member of the Atlanta Bar Association (Criminal Section Chair), Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers, and Gate City Bar Association. Additionally, He is a member of Ben Hill United Methodist Church, Georgetown University Club of Metropolitan Atlanta, Mercy Care Foundation (Development Committee), and is Life Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
